Singing & piano lessons in Bookham, Surrey…
Supportive vocal and music tuition for adults and children…
We provide an innovative method of vocal tuition, supported by dance physiology, along with music tuition to broaden the scope of the singers capabilities. We also offer piano, keyboard and music theory lessons for those studying for music exam levels or for those who want to learn to play chords or to learn musical arranging for commercial use. With our base in Bookham, between Leatherhead and Guildford, we also provide extensive dance and musical theatre training at our nearby performing arts achool, Amanda Warwick Dance Arts.
Success Singing and Piano arrange affordable singing and keyboard lessons with a choice of lesson lengths depending on age and experience (30mins, 45mins or 1hr, with longer lessons arranged by special arrangement). Lessons are generally taken weekly or fortnightly, and we welcome individual appointments booked for specific events. Singing lessons can be taken individually or in pairs and are with both the Success teachers, singer and dancer/choreographer Amanda Warwick, who specialises in voice production and development plus vocal diagnostics, and pianist and arranger Trevor Lomas, who provides expertise in music theory, handles the technical aspects of recording, provides live accompaniment during singing lessons, and teaches piano. Singing tuition is offered in all musical styles (except opera) and all abilities are catered for. Pianio tuition can be directed towards exams (ABRSM Classical or Jazz syllabi), or taken just for enjoyment. Prices are available on application.
If required we can arrange custom backing tracks for you, and subject to time availability, piano/keyboard tuition can be combined with your singing lesson.
Our singing exam results are impressive … a 100% pass rate, with over 80% of pupils attaining Distinction grading. We offer exams in LCM, ABRSM and Rockschool
